CONTENT
The booklet comprises 190 questions with answer options labeled A, B, C, and D. The practice questions and answers are based on the current version of the Alberta Government “Commercial Driver’s Guide: trucks, buses, emergency responders and taxis. Spring 2023”. The questions are carefully grouped into four (4) sections incorporating topics that are covered in the commercial driver’s guide. This makes it easy to follow, understand, and learn the requirements.

HOW TO USE THE WORKBOOK
- Using the booklet is simple
- Print out a copy of the whole workbook if you can
- Alternatively, you can write down numbers 1 to 190 on a sheet of paper and use that as a worksheet
- Answer the 190 questions by choosing and writing the appropriate answer options – A, B, C, or D in the space provided or on the paper where you wrote down the numbers 1 to 190
- Once you are done, use the answer sheets to mark your response “correct” or “wrong”
- Celebrate your getting the correct questions
- Review the questions you got wrong, get the correct answers, and learn from them
- Go through the whole questions and answer sections as often as you can to achieve mastery before booking for and taking your knowledge test
To become a professional (commercial) driver, it is required that you already have a class 5 driver’s licence and therefore had passed the accompanying knowledge test.
